We’ve had an incredible journey of growth since launching, and it’s all down to our team and community. To accompany this growth and continue making a world-class interactive platform, we’ve doubled our employee headcount in the last year and will continue to expand our team through some exciting opportunities.

We attribute our growth to our legendary team at TryHackMe who help solidify TryHackMe as the most innovative cyber training platform, and the incredible tribe of learners who are loyal to our training!

Career Progression

With a growing need to upskill in all areas of cyber security, career progression and upskilling are at the core of everything we do.

That’s why, at TryHackMe, every employee is allocated a minimum annual training budget of £2,500, to use towards online courses, acquiring certifications, strengthening your skills, or even branching out to achieve new goals! Alongside personal development, devote 10% of your working time to any project that will benefit you in your role.

Team Events

In a remote working world, our international team can be found in all corners of the globe. We’re always connected through team events, with fortnightly team lunches paid for by us, team-building activities, frequent socials, departmental meet-ups to collaborate, and a regular TryHackathon.

As a way to reward all staff, our annual retreat unites our global team, face-to-face, with an opportunity to collaborate and have fun. Our last company retreat saw us visit the vibrant city of Lisbon, for tuk-tuk rides, segway tours, paintballing, treasure hunts, sunset dinners on the beach, finished off by our company awards night, plus much much more!

Ben, Content Engineer

I’m a Content Engineer at TryHackMe, and have been here since 2020. I help develop content our B2B and B2C users use, mostly focusing on blue and red team content. When I’m not discussing future content ideas and roadmaps, you’ll find me working with third-party content creators, testing community-created rooms, and moderating the TryHackMe community Discord!

Through TryHackMe, I have developed my programming skills in languages such as C, Python & Javascript. I am currently earning a certification in Incident Response!

Davis, Software Engineer

I design, develop and maintain the front and back end of the application as a Software Engineer at TryHackMe. I’m responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility of UX/UI designs and troubleshooting any arising issues during the development process.

I love the collaborative and supportive culture of TryHackMe, as well as the opportunity to work on diverse, challenging projects.

Gregory, Technical Support Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer at TryHackMe, my responsibilities include working on new support processes, helping users troubleshoot technical issues, escalating bug reports to our software teams, and communicating user feedback to the relevant teams to continuously improve our platform.

You can sometimes find me hanging around on Discord helping users or learning from others.

Danielle, Global Senior Customer Success Manager

As a Senior Customer Success Manager, my day is spent dedicated to our business subscribers, acting in partnership as their internal champion within TryHackMe. On a typical day, I onboard new clients during the onboarding journey, conduct business reviews, answer client queries, and ensure our business customers are getting the most value out of our service and helping make their experience bespoke and personal.

Since joining TryHackMe, I have loved working with the exceptional individuals that work here and are always happy to lend a hand or expertise when needed. With my 10% time and training budget, I’m currently studying for my CompTIA Security+ certification!
