As many of you know, our mission from day one has been to make cyber security learning accessible, fun, and realistic. But above all, our unwavering commitment is to provide top-quality content to all our users.

You might have noticed that we have decided to gate some of our content exclusively for users on our business plan. We fully understand the implications this change brings, and we want to assure you that this decision wasn't taken lightly.

Our primary goal at TryHackMe has always been to provide quality, interactive training that supports your journey into the cyber security field. TryHackMe has always provided great virtual machine-based training. However, as we transition towards incorporating more hands-on cloud environments into our offerings, we're conscious of the high costs and complex computing requirements. If we were to provide unrestricted access to our nearly 2 million users right now, we'd be in a difficult position that would ultimately affect the quality of our content and services.

Maintaining Quality for Everyone

By gating some content for users on our business plan, we can continue to maintain the high-quality and interactive experiences that TryHackMe is known for, while still providing incredible content for our individual users. We truly believe that this new structure will enable us to grow and sustain our platform, continue to innovate, and, most importantly, ensure that all our users receive the top-notch cyber security education they deserve.

Our Commitment to Individual Users Remains Unchanged

Please know that our individual users' value and place within TryHackMe remain undiminished. You are integral to our mission and our community. We are steadfastly committed to providing you with innovative and engaging content. Since our inception, we have released 650+ labs, 10 unique learning paths, competitive hacking games, real-world learning environments, and career guides, all the while keeping 71% of our content totally free.

We remain committed to constantly creating and delivering remarkable content for you. This year, you can look forward to more labs, walkthroughs, challenges, and learning paths. We're excited to release content relating to Security Engineering, SOC Level 2 Analysts, DevSecOps, Incident Response, and Web Application Security training.
